Crops are great at turning a profit, buy to really have a fulfilling experience on a farm, there's no substitute for a herd of cattle!
Talk to Pitchfork Jeb about raising a Cow!
Jeb has asked to purchase an Oak Feed Trough. Without it, it'd be a hard time feeding the cows!
I bought an Oak Feed Trough. Now I need to place it in my barn!
Now that the Oak Feed Trough has been purchased, it is to placed in the Small Barn. Walk into the barn to get started.
Whenever walking into a building, the "Furniture Editing Mode" will pop up. It's the button under the backpack. Try it now!
And then I decided to start placing some furniture.
To place the Oak Feed Trough, drag it from the Inventory and drop it wherever necessary inside the barn.
I placed the feed trough in the barn.
The Oak Feed Trough is now placed! Now, to fill it, just stand next to it and drop some Wheat. It'll go into any empty stop in the trough.
Then I dropped some wheat in the trough.
Great! Cow has some food to eat! Return to Pitchfork Jeb's Farmer Supply for the next step.
I went back to Jeb and asked him what was next.
Give the new baby Cow a good petting. Cows need love and food to grow big and strong!
