The Iron Pickaxe can be purchased from Miner's Store / Pitchfork Jeb's Farmer Supply. It is the first pickaxe that new farmers can purchase. It breaks a small amount of rock, but cannot break the rocks inside the Chromium Mines or the Vanadium Mines.
