Slate Chunk can only be found in Boomtown Mine or purchased from the Miner for $1.60. It is used to make Roof Slate, which is one of the materials required for the Large Barn. Careful though, sometimes the slate will become Slate Dust!
Players can also sell slate by placing it on the Crate Packer. Each crate can hold up to 50 ores.
