This category exists to help wiki editors find high quality references for new work. If you're making a page for a new item, quest, NPC, vehicle, etc., you should be able to find a page here that falls into the same category, so that you can copy the template code from it to use for your new work.
Standards
In order to provide a high quality reference for Farmtown, we should adhere to some basic standards:
- Try to use an encyclopedic tone (use passive voice, avoid addressing the reader with "you", don't make opinionated statements.)
- Use proper English grammar to the best of your ability.
- Don't repeat yourself. If some info exists in the Infobox for the page, it doesn't need to be in the main text. It's okay if pages are short.
- Use high quality images, but don't oversize them. MediaWiki doesn't do any server-side resizing, so you can really slow a page down if you're not careful.
- Use PNG format or JPG with at least 90% quality. Anything lower looks pretty awful.
- Don't embed images unless it's related to the paragraph you're embedding them next to. We probably don't even have any pages long enough for this. Put them in a gallery. Corn has an example of a gallery.
