Potato seeds can be purchased for $0.50 each at Pitchfork Jeb's Farmer Supply and yield 10 potatoes per seed. This is one of the few crops that grows best in winter, so it can often be a good choice when other crops aren't growing. It is one of the more common crops to be had from the Giving Tree in the form of seeds.

Potatoes yield Potato starch when milled in the Windmill. Potatoes are of the flowering type of crop, and can be used by bees to pollinate, ultimately producing honey.
